  5. Most excellent guide! Exactly what I was looking for! I had previously tried to optimize the Skyrim - Textures.bsa before but this was reduced to ~600KB, so I know I did something wrong. Will follow this guide going forward, even if it may not grant performance increases, at least the textures will look like they should have been from the get go.

    As an aside, I noticed that your resolution limits for both options are set to 4096x4096. Have you tried setting this to 2048x2048 and if so, was there a loss in visual quality?

    Now, simply awaiting recommendations on texture optimizations from the mods listed in the STEP guide.
